Happy Bundles is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing life-changing moments of joy to children battling cancer.
Founded in South Africa by Dan and Candice Kriel after Candz's diagnosis with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in 2020, Happy Bundles has since expanded its mission globally.
Now based in Seattle, USA, Dan and Candice have registered and launched Happy Bundles in the U.S, aiming to take their impactful work international.
The journey began unexpectedly for Candice, a young and healthy mother of two, married to professional Rugby player Dan Kriel. Facing the daunting reality of cancer, they found strength in the unwavering support of loved ones and medical professionals. Throughout Candice's grueling treatment journey, she was deeply moved by the challenges faced by young cancer patients, both physically and emotionally.
Driven by empathy and a desire to make a difference, Candice embarked on a mission to give back. Happy Bundles emerged as a beacon of hope, delivering moments of joy and comfort to children battling cancer. Through their own experience, Dan and Candice understand the profound impact of a simple gesture of kindness during times of adversity.
